Most imported mass-market furniture uses untreated particleboard and paper foils that swell, sag, and peel under West African humidity. At Konkaya, we craft every modern furniture piece using high-density moisture-resistant materials, cured tropical hardwoods, and industrial anti-scratch matte lacquers engineered specifically for Nigerian climatic conditions.

We pair seasoned hardwoods with modern premium materials including German Blum and Hafele soft-close motion gear, Calacatta quartz countertops, anti-fingerprint acrylics, fluted acoustic panelling, and integrated warm 3000K architectural LED lighting.

Yes. While our workshop and factory are based in Industrial Layout Irete, Owerri, we regularly deliver and install complete home and office furniture projects across Port Harcourt, Enugu, Asaba, Abuja, and Lagos with our experienced installation team.

All hardwoods are kiln-dried and properly seasoned to a 10% to 12% moisture level before cutting. We use protective seals on all sides and expansion grooves so your furniture will not warp, crack, or bend during dry Harmattan or rainy seasons.

Single custom pieces (such as dining sets, TV consoles, or executive desks) typically take 4 to 6 weeks. Fitted modular kitchens and custom master dressing wardrobes take 5 to 7 weeks from approved 3D drawings to final on-site installation. Full-house furniture projects take 8 to 12 weeks.
