1. Shop Drawings & Measurement Sign-Off
All custom orders commence upon formal client sign-off of our workshop CAD drawings and physical site measurements. Any subsequent architectural changes to walls, plumbing, or electrical work made on site after sign-off may require revision charges.
2. Timber Seasoning & Natural Variations
We use solid natural hardwoods (including Nigerian Iroko, Sapele Mahogany, and Teak). Natural timber exhibits authentic variations in grain pattern, mineral streaks, and color density. While our kiln drying stabilizes wood to 10% to 12% moisture level, slight natural movement of ±1mm during severe harmattan or heavy wet season shifts is a natural property of real solid wood.
3. Delivery & Site Readiness
Project timelines (e.g. 4 to 6 weeks for furniture suites, 6 to 8 weeks for complete house woodwork) are calculated from confirmed deposit and final site survey. Sites must have completed all wet construction work (such as plastering, floor screeding, and wall painting) before furniture and woodwork installation to protect timber from wall moisture.
4. Hardware Warranty
All Blum and Hafele concealed soft-close running gear and drawer mechanisms installed by Konkaya carry the manufacturer's lifetime mechanical warranty, serviced directly by our installation team.
