Architectural Scope & Joinery Engineering

Konkaya was engaged as the primary joinery contractor for a 32-room boutique hotel in New Owerri. The client needed high-durability furniture manufactured locally to avoid foreign exchange delays and port demurrage costs at Nigerian ports.

We standardized dimensions across three room tiers to optimize sheet-cutting yields. Luggage benches feature high-impact brass rub rails. Desk surfaces are surfaced in scratch-resistant compact laminate with solid timber radiused edges.

Deliveries were executed in 4 phased batches corresponding to floor handover schedules, with all on-site snagging completed within 5 working days per floor.
