Seasoned joinery built in Owerri
Architectural Scope & Joinery Engineering
Commissioned for a luxury duplex in Guzape, Abuja. The library spans two full stories across a 7-meter wall, holding over 2,500 books alongside architectural display niches.
Because of the span and weight loading, every upright is anchored back to the concrete structure through concealed brackets. Shelves are fabricated from 32mm composite core with solid 8mm Teak front nosing to prevent shelf sagging under heavy book loads.
A custom satin-black steel ladder runs along an overhead extruded brass rail, providing comfortable access to upper shelves.
